TQM Framework for Healthcare Sectors: Barriers to Implementation

Purpose: A qualitative research was carried out with an aim of understanding and addressing the challenges integrating TQM in healthcare industry. It examines existing inadequacies service quality, barriers implementation practices, Methodology/Approach: conceptual model is developed to explore issues arising implementation. There are three major components TQM: such as implementation, Critical Success Factors Benefits TQM. Interviews health workers patients were conducted based on pre-structured questionnaires. Seven hypotheses investigate how can be achieved irrespective surmounting barriers. Findings: Findings suggest implemented right environment committed leadership supportive infrastructure, which would drive SQ, improved customers, employees’ satisfaction loyalty, increase profitability shareholder values. deliver high quality medical care for overall performance Research Limitation/Implication: semi-structured may some inevitable biases present questionnaires evaluation review. Originality/Value paper: The study benefits from insights personnel patients’ perspective, exploring SQ attributes, i.e., circle, continuous improvement, employee empowerment customer focused approach.
